REPORT ON EDUCATION MARCH 2023
NOVELLE BEAUTY ACADEMY
The team of GCDLC visited NOVELLE BEAUTY ACADEMY on the 3rd of March 2023, a private basic school located in Oshiyie ( a fishing community in Ga South District) to be of an assistant to address and curb some of the challenges the school is facing.
Education is an essential source of wisdom knowledge and career development for all humanity, therefore it’s imperative for every parent to educate their children or wards to become responsible men and women in their community and country respectively. Ghana Development and Life Care believe in the concept of education because „an investment in knowledge pays the best interest“ by Benjamin Franklin.
Through interaction with some of the teachers, pupils and the headmaster of the school, the team got to know their worries and challenges such as basic learning materials, lack of desk and a lavatory for both the students and staff to ease themselves when nature’s call.
The school also need a computer lab and a good ceiling fans in their classrooms.
GCDLC made some donation of textbooks and other learning materials and assured all the staff and pupils that they will return to help them put up a lavatory structure and also provide desk and ceiling fans to make the school environment conducive to learn.
